Starwood Hotels Japan Offers 30% Off Meeting and Event Packages

Leveraging Our Global Network to Offer Packages inside and outside Japan; Meeting Wide-ranging MICE Demand

The Starwood Hotels Japan Company, the Japan subsidiary of one of the world's largest hotel operators with brands including Sheraton and Westin, will begin offering special discount packages for companies and groups planning to hold meetings or events. From this summer until February 2012, the service will be offered in nine hotels throughout Japan to respond to the needs of group customers. In addition, a portion of the revenues will be donated to recovery efforts for the Great East Japan Earthquake.

These meeting and event packages, which offer discounts of up to 30%, are designed to provide remarkable benefits to companies and groups. The website and pamphlets that serve as sales promotion tools for this campaign have been prepared in Japanese, Chinese and English versions, and the packages will be promoted and sold widely through Starwood's globe-spanning sales network.

The two special packages in this campaign, which are being offered until February 29, 2012, are as follows.

- Meeting Package for groups using banquet hall facilities

Banquets in the hotel banquet and meeting rooms along with night stays in our guest rooms are being offered at special rates of up to 30% off.

A) 100 rooms or more: 30% off

B) 10-99 rooms: 25% off

C) 9 rooms or less, or no rooms: 20% off

- Room Only Package for group stays

Groups requiring only guest rooms without making use of banquet facilities are eligible for 25% off Best Available Rates inclusive of breakfast for one.
