The China Fund, Inc. Announces the Adjournment of a Special Meeting of Stockholders

NEW YORK, July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The China Fund, Inc. CHN (the "Fund") announces today that at a Special Meeting of Stockholders convened on June 20, 2017, adjourned and then reconvened on July 25, 2017, stockholders of the Fund approved a second adjournment of the Meeting to allow additional time to cast votes on the proposed Investment Advisory and Management Agreement and the proposed Direct Investment Management Agreement, each between the Fund and Open Door Investment Management Ltd.

The Special Meeting of Stockholders will reconvene on August 30 at 9:00 AM.
