Sallie Mae's Bridging the Dream Scholarship program asks high school counselors from across the country to nominate students who exemplify excellence both inside and outside the classroom, have overcome obstacles, and have a desire and dedication to make college happen. Counselors can nominate students beginning Aug. 10. For more details or to nominate, visit the Bridging the Dream website.
