AgriEuro Acquires New Reed Harvesting Equipment

BUCHAREST, Romania, Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AgriEuro Corp. EURI today announced that it has purchased new equipment for its reed harvesting activities.

The company acquired a Seiga machine at a cost of 70,000 Euros in November.

The Seiga's expected delivery date is within the next 30 days. This machine will allow AgriEuro to double the amount of reed that's harvested in 2017.

Seiga machines are special because they are the only kind that can access swampy fields and harvest the reed without destroying the plant roots. They use 6 floating wheels and exercise weight pressure of less than 100 grams per square cm which protects the crops from damage and sets up the plant for a healthy growth the following season.

"The Seiga acquisition will allow us to significantly increase reed production. Best of all, the machine is approved for use on our UNESCO World Heritage property as it does not cause any damage while it's operating." cited Mr. Radu Cosmin Monda, CEO of AgriEuro Corp.

"We are planning to place an order for 3 more machines before the end of the year and are expecting to eventually bring production up to 1.5 million raw bundles of reed."
