VANCOUVER, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - WordLogic Corp. WLGC, the predictive intelligence technology company, announces that a mandatory settlement conference was set for February 29, 2016. On the very same day, Microsoft acquired Touchtype, Inc., dba  Swiftkey for $250 million USD  dollars.

"Discussions were pushed forward and Microsoft shielded Swiftkey from any settlement by way of its RPX license to WordLogic's patents. Microsoft and RPX, both threatened WordLogic with sanctions if WordLogic does not withdraw from the case. A foreign company profits on the back of U.S. patented technology then moves to the U.S. and gets acquired by a large U.S. company – Microsoft, and Microsoft bullies the small U.S. company that created this technology ten years before Swiftkey existed. I guess this behavior is what Donald Trump means when discussing the problems in America" - Mr. Frank Evanshen, CEO WordLogic Corp.

The Company will consider its next approach in this matter. Moving forward WordLogic will focus on getting its REACH patent pending technology to the market.
