Bob Sulentic of CBRE to Keynote at Realcomm | IBcon 2018 General Session

Realcomm Conference Group has announced that Bob Sulentic, President and CEO of CBRE, will be the opening keynote speaker at the Realcomm | IBcon 2018 General Session, Navigating in The Age of Acceleration: A Global Real Estate Powerhouse Weighs In. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 8:30am to 10:30am at the Chelsea Theatre in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Sulentic will share his views on Digital Transformation, The Age of Acceleration and what it means for Real Estate.

Technology is advancing at an accelerated rate. This fast pace results in not just tactical adjustments, but also strategic realignment, paradigm shifts and big changes to how we work, play, learn and more. With dramatic changes to our lifestyle come equally significant changes to the built environment. How we design, build, lease, manage, transact and most importantly "use" space is all in a state of flux. CBRE is a force in the commercial, corporate and institutional real estate market and is in a strong position to understand the technology and innovation fueled changes that will continue to impact our industry.

Since 2012, CBRE has grown rapidly under Sulentic's executive leadership, with revenues topping $14.2 billion in 2017 with its more than 80,000 employees globally. Prior to becoming CEO, Sulentic served as President of CBRE, with responsibility for all business segments. He also served as the company's CFO in 2009, during the depth of the global financial crisis. He began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in 1984 as an Industrial Leasing Agent. For the next 23 years, Sulentic served in various senior leadership positions culminating in serving as President/CEO in 2000 until it merged with CBRE in late 2006.

"We are very excited to have Bob Sulentic as the opening keynote at this year's General Session as we celebrate 20 years at the intersection of Commercial and Corporate Real Estate, Technology, Automation and Innovation," said Jim Young, co-founder and CEO of Realcomm. "It has been an incredible journey, one that included many challenges and successes, travels, conversations, debates, collaboration and ideas from around the world, as well as a slow but steady rise in the adoption of new innovative ideas powered by technology. Bob's global insight and expertise, combined with CBRE's strategy as it relates to Digital Transformation, will provide our attendees a dynamic perspective on how we can survive and more importantly, thrive in The Age of Acceleration."
