Industrial Logistics Properties Trust Names John C. Popeo as Managing Trustee

Industrial Logistics Properties Trust ILPT today announced that John C. Popeo has been elected as a Managing Trustee of ILPT effective March 27, 2018 to fill a vacancy on the Board.

Mr. Popeo (age 57) is the President and Chief Operating Officer of ILPT. In addition, Mr. Popeo is Executive Vice President of The RMR Group LLC, is Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Select Income REIT, the owner of approximately 69.2% of ILPT's outstanding common shares and has served as the chief financial officer of other publicly traded real estate companies managed by The RMR Group LLC. Prior to joining The RMR Group in 1997, Mr. Popeo held accounting and finance positions at other real estate companies, including The Beacon Companies and First Winthrop Corporation. Mr. Popeo is a certified public accountant.
