TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO) is in talks to be acquired by Rovi Corporation (NASDAQ: ROVI), according to sources as reported by the NY Times Dealkbook on Thursday. TiVo shares surged 23.37 percent to close at $9.45 on Thursday, while Rovi shares fell 1.30 percent to close at $19.81 on Thursday.

Analysts expect SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX) to post its quarterly earnings at $1.37 per share on revenue of $3.26 billion. SYNNEX shares gained 3.07 percent to close at $96.08 on Thursday.

Qlik Technologies Inc (NASDAQ: QLIK) is said to be exploring strategic alternatives, including a potential sale, according to sources as reported by Reuters on Friday. Qlik Technologies shares gained 1.02 percent to close at $26.69 on Thursday.
