Telekom Austria Q1 Profit Surges

reported a surge in its profit for the first quarter. The company's quarterly net profit jumped more than 127 percent to 92.7 million euros ($99.4 million), versus a year-ago profit of EUR40.8 million. Its revenue fell 2 percent to EUR956 million from EUR975.9 million. Adjusted EBITDA at the America Movil unit gained 5.8 percent to 338.5 million euros ($363.31 million). The company confirmed its outlook for 2015.
