UPDATE: CBOE Holdings Posts Higher Q4 Profit

reported a gain in its fourth-quarter profit. CBOE's quarterly net income surged to $45.6 million, or $0.52 per share, versus $39.2 million, or $0.45 per share, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were projecting earnings of $0.48 per share. Its total operating revenue jumped to $141.8 million versus $130.1 million. CBOE shares closed at $51.68 yesterday.
