posted a wider-than-expected fourth-quarter loss. Arch Coal posted a quarterly net loss of $371.2 million, or $1.75 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $295.4 million, or $1.39 per share. On an adjusted basis, it lost $0.45 per share. However, analysts were projecting a loss of $0.39 per share. Its revenue declined 17% to $719.4 million, versus estimates of $764.44 million. Arch Coal shares fell 3.74% to $3.86 in pre-market trading.
