Vedanta Posts H1 Loss

posted a loss in the first half of the year. Vedanta posted a loss of $217 million, versus a year-ago profit of $174 million. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization dropped to $2.21 billion. Vedanta also raised its interim dividend by 5% to $0.22 per share. Vedanta shares closed at $16.33 yesterday.
