TD Bank Posts 10% Drop In Q3 Profit, Raises Dividend


Toronto-Dominion Bank (NYSE: TD) reported a 10% drop in its third-quarter profit and raised its dividend by 5%.

The bank's quarterly earnings fell to C$1.53 billion, or C$1.58 per share, from C$1.70 billion, or C$1.78 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding one-time items, the bank earned C$1.65 per share, versus analysts' estimates of C$1.55 per share.

Toronto-Dominion Bank shares rose 0.49% to $84.00 in pre-market trading.
