Compal Q2 Net Profit Drops 15%

reported a 15% drop in its second-quarter net profit. Compal's quarterly net profit declined to 1.39 billion New Taiwan dollars (US$46.4 million), missing analysts' estimates of NT$1.52 billion. In the second quarter of 2012, Compal reported a net profit of NT$1.63 billion. Its revenue gained 1% to NT$166.9 billion from NT$164.9 billion.
