DNB Posts Drop In Q2 Profit

Norwegian bank DNB ASA

posted a decline in its second-quarter profit. DNB's quarterly net profit dropped to NOK3.80 billion, versus NOK4.61 billion, in the year-ago period. However, economists were expecting a profit of NOK3.55 billion. Its net interest income climbed to NOK7.48 billion from NOK6.63 billion, versus estimates of NOK7.61 billion.
