UPDATE: Abercrombie & Fitch Posts Q1 Loss

reported a loss in the first quarter. Abercrombie & Fitch posted a quarterly loss of $7.2 million, or $0.09 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $21.3 million, or $0.25 per share. Its revenue dropped 9% to $838.8 million from $921.2 million. However, analysts were estimating a loss of $0.05 per share on revenue of $938 million. Abercrombie & Fitch projects Q2 earnings of $0.28 to $0.33 per share and full-year earnings of $3.15 to $3.25 per share. Abercrombie & Fitch shares closed at $54.37 yesterday.
