France Telecom 2012 Profit Drops 79%

France Telecom SA

reported a 79% fall in its 2012 net profit. France Telecom's 2012 profit declined to 820 million euros ($1.1 billion), down from EUR3.90 billion, in the year-ago period. Its revenue dropped 3.9% to EUR43.52 billion, while operating income decreased 49% to EUR4.06 billion. France Telecom shares closed at $10.50 yesterday.
