UPDATE: MEMC Posts Upbeat Q4 Adjusted Earnings

reported a narrower Q4 loss. MEMC posted a quarterly loss of $11.8 million, or $0.05 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $1.48 billion, or $6.44 per share. On an adjusted basis, it earned $0.08 per share. Its total revenue declined to $600.7 million, from $717.8 million. However, analysts were expecting adjusted earnings of $0.01 per share on revenue of $666.6 million. MEMC shares declined 1.23% to $4.76 in after-hours trading.
