UPDATE: SHFL Entertainment Q4 Profit Up 11%

reported an 11% rise in its fourth-quarter net income. SHFL's quarterly net income surged to $10.8 million, or $0.19 per share, from $9.7 million, or $0.18 per share, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $0.20 per share. Its revenue climbed 12% to $73.6 million. For the entire fiscal year, SHFL's earnings came in at $38.7 million, or $0.68 per share, on revenue of $259 million, versus a year-ago profit of $31.6 million, or $0.57 per share, on revenue of $228 million. SHFL Entertainment shares fell 0.75% to $13.19 in the after-hours trading session.
