Sky Deutschland Posts Upbeat Q3 Operating Profit

German firm Sky Deutschland

posted an operating profit in the third quarter. Sky Deutschland added 80,000 new subscribers in the period. Sky Deutschland posted a quarterly operating profit (EBITDA) of 18.6 million euros ($23.64 million), versus a year-ago operating loss of 18.6 million. However, analysts were expecting a profit of 8.67 million euro. Sky Deutschland shares closed at $4.18 yesterday.
