C&C Group H1 Operating Profit Rises 5%

C&C Group PLC

reported a 5% increase in its first-half operating profit. C&C Group's revenue for the period dropped to EUR397.0 million, from EUR399.3 million, in the year-ago period. Its operating profit rose to EUR65.5 million from EUR62.3 million, while profit before tax and exceptional items declined to EUR63.8 million from EUR64.8 million. C&C Group's shares closed at $14.66 yesterday.
