reported a loss in the third quarter. Sealy posted a quarterly loss of $106,000, versus a year-ago profit of $6.6 million, in the year-earlier period. Its revenue climbed 9% to $365.4 million in the recent quarter. Tempur-Pedic

announced its plans to acquire Sealy for around $228.6 million in cash. Sealy shares gained 1.83% to $2.23 in after-hours trading.
