released its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings results on Wednesday after the closing bell. The company reported a net loss of $1.55 billion or $0.64 per share, compared to net income of $683 million or $0.26 per share in last year's corresponding quarter. On an adjusted basis, the company reported a profit of $0.32 per share, compared to $0.35 per share in last year's fourth-quarter. This was in-line with Wall Street analysts' consensus estimates of $0.32 per share. Quarterly revenue was $8.37 billion, compared to $8.96 billion in the year ago period. This missed analysts' consensus revenue estimates of $8.73 billion. In Wednesday's after hours trading session, NWSA was last down a little less than 2 percent to $23.30.
