Gudang Garam H1 Net Profit Down 8.3%

Indonesia's PT Gudang Garam

reported an 8.3% drop in its first-half net profit. Gudang Garam's net profit for the period declined to 2.10 trillion rupiah ($221 million), versus IDR2.29 trillion, in the year-ago period. Its sales climbed 20% to IDR23.56 trillion from IDR19.65 trillion, while cost of sales surged 26% to IDR19.01 trillion versus IDR15.07 trillion.
