UPDATE: UnitedHealth Posts Upbeat Q2 Profit, Lifts Forecast

UnitedHealth Group

posted a rise in its second-quarter profit and lifted its full-year view. UnitedHealth's quarterly net income climbed to $1.34 billion, or $1.27 per share, versus $1.27 billion, or $1.16 per share, in the year-ago period. Analysts were projecting a profit of $1.19 per share. UnitedHealth shares closed at $56.35 yesterday.
