Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ: SBUX) announced its plans to buy bakery chain La Boulange for $100 million in cash. SBUX shares dropped 1.84% to $52.91 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc (NASDAQ: ULTA) to have earned $0.53 per share on revenue of $473.86 million in the first quarter. ULTA shares fell 0.01% to $86.28 in after-hours trading.
Dollar General Corp (NYSE: DG) reported a 36% surge in its first-quarter profit and lifted its full-year forecast. DG shares declined 2.95% to $47.06 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Layne Christensen Co (NASDAQ: LAYN) to post its Q1 EPS at $0.23 on revenue of $265.29 million. LAYN shares rose 0.05% to close at $18.60 yesterday.
