Bunzl Posts Rise In Adjusted Pretax Profit

reported an increase in its adjusted pretax profit for the year. Bunzl's pretax profit dropped to GBP193.7 million, from GBP225.2 million in 2010. Its revenue rose to GBP5.11 billion, from GBP4.83 billion in 2010. Its adjusted pretax profit climbed to GBP306.1 million from GBP276.2 million. Its adjusted earnings per share surged to 68.5 pence from 60.6 pence in 2010. Bunzl's diluted earnings per share dropped to 38 pence from 48.8 pence in 2010. It declared a dividend for the year of 26.35 pence, versus 23.35 pence in 2010.
