Coca-Cola Amatil Full-Year Net Profit Surges 19%

posted a 19% rise in its full year net profit. Coca-Cola Amatil's net profit for the period climbed to 591.8 million Australian dollars (US$631.1 million), from A$497.3 million in the previous year. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of A$593.9 million. Coca-Cola Amatil announced its plans to pay a final dividend of 30.5 cents per share, versus 28.0 cents per share in the earlier year. Coca-Cola Amatil shares closed at $13.12 yesterday.
