Zurich Financial Q4 Net Profit Drops 46%

posted a drop in its earnings in the fourth quarter. Zurich Financial's quarterly net profit dipped 46% to $557 million, from $1.03 billion, in the year-ago period. Its business operating profit dropped 25% to $1 billion from $1.33 billion. Zurich Financial shares closed at $25.07 yesterday.
