Webster Reports Rise In Q3 Profit

Webster Financial Corporation

released its results for the third quarter on Friday. Webster reported its quarterly net income available to common shareholders at $41.5 million, or $0.45 per share, up from $33.4 million, or $0.36 per share, in the year-ago quarter. WBS shares closed at $18.22 yesterday.
