El Paso Electric Declares Dividend $0.22

The Board of Directors of El Paso Electric

today declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.22 per share. The dividend is payable on June 30, 2011 to shareholders of record on June 15, 2011. This will be the first dividend paid on EE's common shares since 1991.
