Peoples Bancorp Announces Cash Dividend of 2 Cents

The Board of Directors of Peoples Bancorp of North Carolina, Inc.

declared a cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2010 in the amount of $.02 per share. The cash dividend will be paid on December 15, 2010 to shareholders of record December 3, 2010.
