U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 200 points on Monday.

Shares of NuStar Energy L.P. (NYSE:NS) rose sharply during Monday’s session after Sunoco announced it will acquire the company in an all-equity transaction valued at roughly $7.3 billion.

NuStar Energy shares jumped 14.2% to $20.59 on Monday.
