Trump Jr's Publishing House To Launch Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'Controversial' Autobiography: 'Some Of It Is Setting The Record Straight'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) revealed her plans to release a “controversial” autobiography in November to share her perspective and experiences.

What Happened: Greene’s forthcoming book, “MTG,” will be published by Winning Team Publishing, a startup co-founded by the former president’s son, Donald Trump Jr.Washington Examiner reported.

The book will explore Greene’s personal and political journey, highlighting her controversial 2020 House campaign and her struggles in the House over topics such as the budget, Ukraine war funding, the border crisis, and President Joe Biden‘s impeachment inquiry.

"I wanted people to hear my side of the story," Greene told the publication.

"Some of it is setting the record straight."

"I'm always controversial, but I think this book might be a little controversial with some of the stories."

Greene hopes to "introduce myself to America as me, not the character that the mainstream media created and has sold to America over the past few years."

"Few individuals have taken Congress by storm in the same way as she has. This book will pull back the curtain on her life, politics and the Washington swamp," a spokesperson for the publishing company said.

Why It Matters: Apart from providing a deeper insight into her political journey, the book will also shed light on notable political moments. These include her campaign against Nancy Pelosi‘s successful bid to remove her from committees, her attempts to assist House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in acquiring Pelosi's position, and her personal account of the Jan. 6 riot.

This book is expected to cause ripples in Washington and potentially set the stage for Greene’s possible run for a higher office. Greene has hinted at considering various political positions, including a governor’s race or a Senate seat.
