Nio To Open Its 3rd European 'Nio House' In This Country Tomorrow

Nio Inc. NIO will reportedly open its first ‘Nio House‘ in the Netherlands on March 23.

What Happened: Nio’s first ‘Nio House’ in the Netherlands is set to open on March 23, reported CnEVPost. A post made by Ruben Keuter, the general manager of NIO Netherlands, on the company’s mobile app, stated this, added the report.

The house will be near Rotterdam Centrum neighborhood, the report said. This is the company’s third Nio House in Europe, with the other two being in Norway and Germany.

Nio has about a 100 Nio houses worldwide. On its website, the company describes these houses as “an open and pleasant place where Nio enthusiasts can share their interests and experience things together.”

Apart from the car gallery where Nio products are displayed, these houses also include meeting rooms, book corner, Nio cafe, children’s area, auditorium and lounge.

A few months ago, in October, Nio unveiled its products and services for Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden at the Nio Berlin 2022.

In an interview with German media heise Autos in October, Nio CEO William Li said, "We are more than a car manufacturer. We already have a community in China and we want to find one in Europe as well."

Earlier today, Nio CFO Steven Feng said the company is very confident of meeting its target of doubling sales to 250,000 for 2023 and breaking even the next year. Feng was speaking at an interview with Bloomberg Television.
