  • Eli Lilly LLY announced additional doses of neutralizing antibody therapy to treat COVID-19 purchased by the U.S. government. The company reported a purchase agreement of $210 million, for 100,000 doses of bamlanivimab 700 mg, and etesevimab 1400 mg, together.

  • U.S. President Biden won’t overrule parliamentarians minimum wage ruling. Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough made her decision Thursday afternoon, declaring the U.S. Senate cannot vote on a federal minimum wage increase.
  • Earnings season tapering off. Thursday was the busiest day of the fourth-quarter earnings season, with highlights from Salesforce.com CRM, HP HPQ, Moderna MRNA, Beyond Meat BYND, Workday WDAY, First Solar FSLR, DoorDash DASH and Airbnb ABNB.
