15 Biggest Mid-Day Losers For Friday

  • Endocyte, Inc. (NASDAQ: ECYT) shares tumbled 31.6 percent to $1.87 after the company issued clinical updates for EC1456 and EC1169, and announced plans to reduce workforce by 40 percent via restructuring. Endocyte said that it is continuing EC1169 program in taxane-exposed patients, but ending clinical development of EC1456 and EC1169 in taxane-naïve patients.
  • RH (NYSE: RH) shares dipped 25.7 percent to $42.53. RH reported in-line earnings for its first quarter, but lowered its earnings forecast for the year.
  • Boot Barn Holdings Inc (NYSE: BOOT) shares fell 15.5 percent to $6.26. Boot Barn reported weaker-than-expected results for its fourth quarter.
  • Spi Energy Co Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ: SPI) shares dropped 12.8 percent to $1.63. Spi Energy shares surged Thursday after the company reported a deal with Capital Stage to sell UK solar project.
  • Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) shares declined 10.2 percent to $12.98. Zumiez posted upbeat results for its first quarter, but issued a weak forecast for the current quarter.
  • Walter Investment Management Corp (NYSE: WAC) shares fell 9.1 percent to $1.15.
  • Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: HOV) dropped 7.8 percent to $2.32. Hovnanian reported a Q2 loss of $0.05 per share on sales of $585.9 million.
  • Fairmount Santrol Holdings Inc (NYSE: FMSA) shares fell 7.7 percent to $4.55.
  • Pinnacle Foods Inc (NYSE: PF) declined 7.5 percent to $60.93. CNBC's David Faber reported that Conagra Brands Inc (NYSE: CAG) talks with Pinnacle Foods have concluded.
  • Savara Inc (NASDAQ: SVRA) dropped 6.4 percent to $4.83. Savara reported an offering of common stock.
  • Sears Canada Inc. (NASDAQ: SRSC) fell 6.3 percent to $0.900.
  • PDC Energy Inc (NASDAQ: PDCE) fell 5.7 percent to $47.31. Credit Suisse downgraded PDC Energy from Outperform to Neutral.
  • DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) shares declined 5.5 percent to $2.42 after rising 7.56 percent on Thursday.
  • Whiting Petroleum Corp (NYSE: WLL) shares dropped 5.2 percent to $6.61. Credit Suisse downgraded Whiting Petroleum from Outperform to Neutral.
  • Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ: ADP) fell 3.1 percent to $100.11. Evercore ISI Group downgraded Automatic Data Processing from In-Line to Underperform.
