  • Protagonist Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: PTGX) jumped 47.2 percent to $12.10 after the company disclosed that it has entered into a worldwide agreement with Janssen to co-develop and commercialize PTG-200.
  • Atwood Oceanics, Inc. (NYSE: ATW) shares climbed 27.5 percent to $10.30 after ENSCO PLC (NYSE: ESV) announced plans to buy the company in an all-stock deal.
  • China New Borun Corp (NYSE: BORN) shares jumped 24.2 percent to $1.54 after the company reported Q1 unaudited financial results. The company’s net income climbed 77.9 percent to RMB44.9 million ($6.5 million), while total revenue rose 6.0 percent to RMB515.9 million ($74.8 million).
  • Xactly Corp (NASDAQ: XTLY) shares gained 15.8 percent to $15.52 as the company agreed to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $15.65 per share. Xactly expects Q1 loss of $0.06 per share to $0.05 per share .
  • Pieris Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: PIRS) climbed 11.4 percent to $4.80. Rodman & Renshaw initiated coverage on Pieris Pharmaceuticals with Buy rating.
  • CardConnect Corp (NASDAQ: CCN) shares rose 9.9 percent to $15.00 after First Data Corp (NYSE: FDC) announced plans to acquire the company for $15.00 per share in cash.
  • Dimension Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: DMTX) shares surged 9.5 percent to $1.15.
  • TiVo Corp (NASDAQ: TIVO) rose 9.2 percent to $17.90 after receiving favourable patent judgement versus Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA).
  • Multi-Color Corporation (NASDAQ: LABL) climbed 7.3 percent to $84.25. Multi-Color reported Q4 net income of $16.7 million on revenue of $244 million.
  • Conn's Inc (NASDAQ: CONN) rose 7.3 percent to $16.95. Conn's is expected to report Q1 results on June 6, 2017.
  • LG Display Co Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE: LPL) shares gained 7.2 percent to $14.37. LG Display will invest $3.56 billion into P10 to produce flexible OLED panels, ETNews reported.
  • Hub Group Inc (NASDAQ: HUBG) rose 6.5 percent to $36.90. Stifel Nicolaus upgraded Hub Group from Hold to Buy.
  • pSivida Corp. (NASDAQ: PSDV) gained 5 percent to $2.33. Rodman & Renshaw initiated coverage on pSivida with a Buy rating.
  • Zynga Inc (NASDAQ: ZNGA) gained 3.2 percent to $3.60. Piper Jaffray upgraded Zynga from Neutral to Overweight.
  • Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) shares rose 3 percent to $30.4. Barclays upgraded Symantec from Equal-Weight to Overweight.
