  • AEterna Zentaris Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ: AEZS) shares dipped 26.7 percent to $2.67 after the company disclosed that Macrilen failed to achieve its objective in Phase 3 trial. The company is evaluating whether it will continue development of Macrilen.
  • Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS) dropped 18.9 percent to $42.09 after the company lowered its earnings forecast for fiscal 2016. Kohl’s comparable sales dropped 2.1 percent in November and December.
  • Hebron Technology Co Ltd (NASDAQ: HEBT) shares declined 16 percent to $4.98.
  • Macy's Inc (NYSE: M) dropped 14.3 percent to $30.73 in pre-market trading after the company announced plans to close 68 stores and reduced its FY16 earnings guidance. The company reported November-December sales comps of -2.1 percent.
  • Castlight Health Inc (NYSE: CSLT) tumbled 13 percent to $4.35. Castlight Health reported the purchase of Jiff, Inc. and named John Doyle as CEO of the combined company.
  • Resources Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ: RECN) dropped 12.2 percent to $17.25 after the company posted downbeat Q2 earnings.
  • Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) shares declined 8.8 percent to $44.62 after rising 2.73 percent on Wednesday.
  • Mistras Group Inc (NYSE: MG) fell 8.7 percent to $24.05 after the company reported weaker-than-expected earnings for its second quarter.
  • L Brands Inc (NYSE: LB) dropped 7.8 percent to $62.07. L Brands reported a 1 percent gain in its net sales for December. The company expects Q4 EPS to be toward lower end of its $1.85-$2.00 guidance.
  • KNOT Offshore Partners LP (NYSE: KNOP) shares declined 7.6 percent to $22.35. KNOT Offshore Partners reported an offering of 2,500,000 common units.
  • Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc (NYSE: HLX) shares fell 7 percent to $9.02. Helix Energy Solutions priced its upsized 23 million share offering at $8.65 per share.
  • Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE: STZ) declined 6.2 percent to $148.20. Constellation Brands reported upbeat quarterly profit.
  • Heron Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: HRTX) shares fell 5.4 percent to $13.05. Heron Therapeutics reported topline results from Phase 2 clinical trial of HTX-011 in abdominoplasty. The company also reported synergy of bupivacaine and meloxicam with HTX-011 for the prevention of post-operative pain in Phase 2 clinical studies.
  • RPM International Inc. (NYSE: RPM) dropped 5.3 percent to $51.91 as the company reported weaker-than-expected Q2 earnings.
  • J C Penney Company Inc (NYSE: JCP) shares fell 5.3 percent to $8.02 after rising 1.68 percent on Wednesday.
  • La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) dropped 5.2 percent to $30.30. Raymond James downgraded La-Z-Boy from Strong Buy to Market Perform.
  • Sangamo Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGMO) fell 4.3 percent to $3.35. Sangamo Biosciences disclosed that it has received the FDA clearance of investigational New Drug Application for its SB-525 gene therapy program for hemophilia A.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings (NASDAQ: BWLD) declined around 3 percent to $149.65. Wedbush downgraded Buffalo Wild Wings from Outperform to Neutral.
