  • First NBC Bank Holding Company (NASDAQ: FNBC) rose 15.1 percent to $8.40 in pre-market trading. First NBC agreed to sell nine branches, and certain assets and liabilities to Whitney Bank. First NBC Bank also appointed Crowe Horwath LLP as its new independent auditor for the year ended December 31, 2016.
  • Abraxas Petroleum Corp. (NASDAQ: AXAS) rose 14.4 percent to $2.94 in pre-market trading after dropping 2.65 percent on Friday.
  • Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE: TSL) shares rose 10.8 percent to $10.30 in pre-market trading after gaining 0.43 percent on Friday.
  • Alon USA Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALJ) rose 10.5 percent to $12.57 in pre-market trading. Delek US Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DK) agreed to acquire remaining outstanding shares of Alon USA.
  • Marinus Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: MRNS) rose 10 percent to $1.11 in pre-market trading after surging 20.96 percent on Friday. Marinus Pharma disclosed that it has received the FDA Orphan Drug designation for ganaxolone.
  • Depomed Inc (NASDAQ: DEPO) rose 9.3 percent to $19.69 in pre-market trading. KKR & Co. L.P. (NYSE: KKR) is said to still be interested in acquiring Depomed and would combine it with Arbor Pharmaceuticals, according to sources as reported by the New York Post on Friday. Depomed has set Wednesday as the deadline for final bids, the sources said.
  • Xerox Corp (NYSE: XRX) shares rose 8.9 percent to $6.26 in pre-market trading. Conduent Inc (NYSE: CNDT) completed its separation from Xerox. Credit Suisse upgraded Xerox from Neutral to Outperform.
  • Pro-Dex Inc (NASDAQ: PDEX) shares rose 8.6 percent to $5.05 in pre-market trading.
  • Protalix Biotherapeutics Inc (NYSE: PLX) shares rose 7.9 percent to $0.480 in pre-market trading after reporting positive results from Phase II clinical trial of alidornase alfa.
  • Kopin Corporation (NASDAQ: KOPN) rose 7.4 percent to $3.05 in pre-market trading after falling 3.07 percent on Friday.
  • Seadrill Ltd (NYSE: SDRL) rose 7 percent to $3.65 in pre-market trading after declining 3.12 percent on Friday.
  • Sprint Corp (NYSE: S) shares rose 6.7 percent to $8.98 in pre-market trading after dropping 4.43 percent on Friday.
  • Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE: FCAU) shares rose 6.3 percent to $9.69 in pre-market trading. Fiat Chrysler and Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ: GOOGL) announced a collaboration on Uconnect system concept powered by Android at the CES 2017.
  • Sohu.com Inc (NASDAQ: SOHU) rose 6 percent to $35.89 in pre-market trading after declining 0.99 percent on Monday.
  • Groupon Inc (NASDAQ: GRPN) rose 3 percent to $3.42 in pre-market trading. RBC Capital upgraded Groupon from Underperform to Sector Perform.
  • RedHill Biopharma Ltd - ADR (NASDAQ: RDHL) shares rose around 2.5 percent to $10.72 in pre-market trading after the company reported an exclusive U.S. co-promotion agreement with Concordia International Corp (NASDAQ: CXRX) for Donnatal.

  • Inotek Pharmaceuticals Corp (NASDAQ: ITEK) fell 60.7 percent to $2.40 in pre-market trading after the company disclosed that it did not achieve its primary endpoint in first Phase 3 trial of trabodenoson for glaucoma.
  • Cesca Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: KOOL) shares fell around 5.8 percent to $3.25 in pre-market trading after dropping 7.75 percent on Friday. Cesca will be presenting at the 9th Annual Biotech Showcase, on January 9-11, 2017.
  • Interpace Diagnostics Group Inc (NASDAQ: IDXG) fell 5.7 percent to $4.15 in pre-market trading after dropping 20.00 percent on Friday.
  • China Online Education Group - ADR (NYSE: COE) shares fell 5.5 percent to $14.70 in pre-market trading after rising 19.62 percent on Friday.
  • Intevac, Inc. (NASDAQ: IVAC) shares fell 4.7 percent to $8.15 in pre-market trading after gaining 2.40 percent on Friday.
  • Mimecast Ltd (NASDAQ: MIME) shares fell around 4 percent to $17.20 in pre-market trading after gaining 2.34 percent on Friday.
