announced Monday, it has ended discussions with The Hershey Company

regarding a potential merger. Following discussions, and considering recent shareholder developments at Hershey, Mondelz determined that "there is no actionable path forward toward an agreement."
Dow Jones
reported that Mondelez' final offer was $115 per share, while Hershey wanted $125. Mondelez closed Monday at $43.04 and traded as high as $44.70 after-hours. Hershey closed at $111.67 and traded as low as $98.07 after-hours.
Leap Therapeutics, Macrocure Announce Definitive Merger AgreementThe Deal

Leap Therapeutics, Inc. and Macrocure Ltd.

announced Monday, the signing of a definitive merger agreement, under which Macrocure will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Leap, and Leap will become a public company. Leap will apply to list the shares of the combined company for trading on NASDAQ upon completion of the merger. The transaction is expected to be completed by year's end. Macrocure closed at $2.01 on Monday, up 66%.
athenahealth Acquires Patient IOThe Deal

announced Monday, the acquisition of Filament Labs, d/b/a Patient IO. Terms were not disclosed. Patient-IO is an Austin, Texas-based care coordination platform used by providers to engage patients and caregivers outside the four walls of the clinic. athenahealth closed at $122.89 on Monday, up $0.80.
