  • Pure Storage Inc PSTG shares rose 11.6 percent to $13.20 in pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected Q2 results.
  • Ocwen Financial Corp OCN shares rose 8.5 percent to $3.45 in pre-market trading as the company disclosed that its units have entered into a Consent Order with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions.
  • Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) HIMX rose 2.4 percent to $9.55 in the pre-market trading after dropping 3.22 percent on Thursday.
  • Tata Motors Limited (ADR) TTM rose 2.3 percent to $38.79 in pre-market trading. For the three months ended June 30, Tata Motors posted consolidated net profit of 22.36 billion rupees ($333.7 million) on revenue of 661.01 billion rupees.

  • Talend SA ADR TLND shares fell 12.2 percent to $26.50 in pre-market trading. Talend reported a Q2 loss of $2.02 per share on revenue of $25.4 million, and issued a weak earnings forecast.
  • GameStop Corp. GME shares fell 7.7 percent to $29.69 in pre-market trading. GameStop reported in-line earnings for its second quarter, but revenues missed by $90 million. Its comparable same-store sales in the US and internationally were down 12.5 and 5.9 percent, respectively.
  • Herbalife Ltd. HLF shares fell 7 percent to $57.61 in pre-market trading. Carl Icahn considered selling his Herbalife stake to a group including Bill Ackman, the Wall Street Journal reported.
  • Splunk Inc SPLK fell 6.6 percent to $60.80 in pre-market trading. Splunk reported upbeat earnings for its second quarter and raised FY17 revenue estimates.
  • Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. ULTA shares fell 1.2 percent to $268.34 in pre-market trading. Ulta Salon posted stronger-than-expected results for its second quarter. Comparable sales increased 14.4 percent compared to an increase of 10.1 percent in the second quarter of fiscal 2015.
  • Nike Inc NKE shares fell 1 percent to $58.67 in pre-market trading. B. Riley downgraded Nike from Buy to Neutral.
