Viad's GES Receives 4 Big F&E Contracts

Viad Corp VVI's GES disclosed that Middle East event organizer F&E, a Tarsus Group company, has hired it as an official supplier in an agreement that would be in force until the end of 2019. According to the company, the deal included delivering services for F&E's aerospace portfolio, i.e., the MEBAA Show, as well as, the Dubai Airshow, taking place at DWC, Airshow Site; co-located shows Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) and MRO Middle East — plus education exhibition GESS, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Viad's GES said that the agreement was established based on its global relationship with parent group Tarsus, now encompassing 15 shows in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East.

The company's president, Steve Moster, said, "We are delighted to extend our global partnership with Tarsus and the F&E team. The Tarsus Group is an exciting, fast growing business with a clear strategy to pursue international opportunities. Our ability to deliver high-profile events in multiple geographies is at the heart of the GES proposition, providing consistency of brand experience for exhibitors and visitors alike and a single point of contact for the F&E and Tarsus teams. We look forward to working on this prestigious portfolio of events."

Similarly, F&E MD, Michele van Akelijen, commented, "F&E has found the ideal partner to continue to deliver the growing shows within our portfolio. GES brings a wealth of experience and proven results which will enable us to provide our exhibitors and visitors with both first-class experience and value."

GES believes that as an international live-events service provider, it is very well placed to help deliver these events with a 90-strong team based in Dubai. The company claimed three decades history of building chalets and custom stands for leading global defense and aerospace clients.

At time of writing, Viad shares were up 2.84 percent at 31.55.
