  • HeartWare International Inc (NASDAQ: HTWR) rose 91.49 percent to $57.41 in pre-market trading after Medtronic PLC (NYSE: MDT) announced its plans to acquire HeartWare for $58 per share in cash.
  • GW Pharmaceuticals PLC- ADR (NASDAQ: GWPH) shares rose 17.96 percent to $98.27 in pre-market trading following positive Epidiolex results. The company reported that Epidiolex met the primary endpoint in Phase 3 trial.
  • Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation (NASDAQ: GLDD) shares rose 13.56 percent to $5.11 in pre-market trading after dropping 5.46 percent on Friday.
  • Zynerba Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ZYNE) shares rose 9.15 percent to $8.35 in pre-market trading after falling 1.54 percent on Friday.
  • Energy Transfer Equity LP (NYSE: ETE) rose 5.78 percent to $14.63 in pre-market trading after a Delaware judge decided the company could walk away from its $20 billion+ takeover of Williams Companies without a penalty.
  • Skullcandy Inc (NASDAQ: SKUL) shares rose 4.7 percent to $6.03 in pre-market trading after the company disclosed that on June 24, it received an unsolicited proposal from Mill Road Capital to buy all the outstanding shares of the company for $6.05 a share.
  • Randgold Resources Ltd. (ADR) (NASDAQ: GOLD) rose 4.28 percent to $105.50 in pre-market trading. Analysts at Goldman upgraded Randgold from Neutral to Buy.

Losers

  • Barclays PLC (ADR) (NYSE: BCS) shares fell 24.18 percent to $6.74 after declining 20.48 percent on Friday. BofA/Merrill Lynch downgraded Barclays from Buy to Neutral, while JP Morgan also downgraded the stock to Neutral.
  • Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (NYSE: RBS) shares fell 23.94 percent to $4.13 in pre-market trading after dropping 27.55 percent on Friday. JPMorgan downgraded Royal Bank of Scotland from Neutral to Underweight, while BofA/Merrill Lynch also downgraded the stock from Neutral to Underperform.
  • Lloyds Banking Group PLC (ADR) (NYSE: LYG) shares tumbled 17.12 percent to $2.76 in the pre-market trading session after dipping 23.27 percent on Friday. JPMorgan downgraded Lloyds Banking from Overweight to Neutral, while BofA/Merrill Lynch also downgraded the stock to Underperform.
  • Ryanair Holdings plc (ADR) (NASDAQ: RYAAY) shares fell 10.45 percent to $69.50 in pre-market trading. Ryanair launched a 24-hour £9.99 ($13.61) flash sale for air tickets for those in need of a getaway after Brexit.
  • Credit Suisse Group AG (ADR) (NYSE: CS) shares fell 9.73 percent to $10.39 in pre-market trading after dropping 16.11 percent on Friday.
  • Deutsche Bank AG (USA) (NYSE: DB) shares dipped 8.70 percent to $13.44 in pre-market trading after falling 17.49 percent on Friday. JPMorgan downgraded Deutsche Bank from Overweight to Neutral.
  • Williams Companies Inc (NYSE: WMB) shares fell 8.49 percent to $19.50 in pre-market trading after a Delaware judge decided that Energy Transfer Equity could walk away from its $20 billion+ takeover of Williams Companies without a penalty.
  • UBS Group AG (USA) (NYSE: UBS) fell 7.10 percent to $12.96 in pre-market trading after tumbling 13.35 percent on Friday. JPMorgan downgraded UBS from Neutral to Underweight.
