Kratos Granted $9.4 Million Contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. KTOS revealed that it was granted a $9.4 million contract in support of a big helicopter avionics training systems for the ally of the United States. That included two company-developed Maintenance Blended Reconfigurable Aviation Trainers (MBRATs).

Kratos Defense said that according to the contract granted to it, the company would offer on-site and post-delivery support for the training systems. The company was confident that it would provide high fidelity hands-on, full-task and virtual training through simulation of helicopter avionics systems.

According to the company, the MBRAT was a reconfigurable system designed and built by it to offer avionics maintenance procedures and remove-and-install training for multiple rotorcraft platforms.

The company's SVP of Training Solutions, Jose Diaz, said, "Kratos has been a leading provider of helicopter maintenance training systems to the U.S. Department of Defense for many years, and this award extends our global growth in supplying training solutions to our allied forces."

On Thursday, the stock traded down by 1.23 percent.
