Amsurg To Release Q1 Results On May 3

Amsurg Corp AMSG will announce its financial results for the first quarter on May 3 after the market closes. The company indicated it would also hold a conference call on the same day at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Amsurg said that the live broadcast would be available online by visiting its website, http://www.amsurg.com and clicking on the link to its Investor Relations. The company said that on-line replay would follow immediately after the conference call and continue for 30 days.

The company was engaged in acquiring, developing and operating ambulatory surgery centers in alliance with physicians throughout the U.S. Its Physician Services Division, Sheridan, offered outsourced physician services in several specialties to hospitals, ASCs and other healthcare facilities throughout the U.S.

Street analysts expect the company to report earnings of $0.79 a share on revenues of $702.65 million for the first quarter. In the last four quarters, its earnings exceeded the Street estimations.

On Tuesday, shares of the company traded down by 1.11 percent.
