Rockwell Automation Names Tom Rosamilia As A Director

Rockwell Automation ROK said in a statement its board has selected Tom Rosamilia as a new Director. He is a Senior VP for IBM Systems since 2013 with global responsibility, according to the company.

Rockwell said Rosamilia got his bachelor's degree from Cornell University, with majors in computer science and economics. He completed the IBM Strategic Leadership Forum at Harvard Business School in 2004. He was also on the boards of the different companies like United Way of Dutchess County, California Manufacturing and Technology Association, the United Way of Silicon Valley, and the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Group. Rosamilia was named as Economic Advisor to the Governor of Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China in November 2015.

Rockwell said the new Director joined IBM as a software developer in 1983 and worked in different capacities since then.

On Thursday morning, the stock lost 0. percent.
