Channel Advisor Says Amazon's March Comp Sales Rose 14.9%, eBay Saw 0.2% Decline

Channel Advisor reported after Wednesday's market close March's same-store sales data for Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN and eBay Inc EBAY.

Channel Advisor said that Amazon's March same-store sales rose 14.9 percent, marking a decrease from February's 16.6 percent. On the other hand, eBay's March same-store sales fell 0.2 percent, also marking a decrease from February's 9.5 percent growth.

Non- eBay and Amazon third party marketplace saw their March same-store sales rise 37.2 percent, marking an increase from February's 34.7 percent gain.

Shares of Amazon were trading lower by 0.68 percent early Thursday morning, while eBay's stock was lower by more than 1 percent.
