Five Stocks Moving In Today's After-Hours Trading Session

Zillow Group, Inc.- Class C Z shares were trading down almost 10 percent on Wednesday’s after-hours session, giving up the 4.29 percent gains registered during the day. No particular news seemed to be driving the decline, which looked like a correction of Wednesday’s surge.

Shares of TAL International Group, Inc. TAL were also trading down, about 8.1 percent, in after-hours, in what also seemed like a correction of the 8.88 percent gains retrieved over the regular trading session.

Among gainers, Ciena Corporation CIEN could be highlighted, as it surged more than 5 percent since the bell rang, ahead of its earnings call, scheduled for Thursday morning. For the first quarter of fiscal 2016, the Street is modeling consensus earnings of $0.14 per share, up 16.6 percent year-over-year, on revenue of $575.21 million, up 8.7 percent in relation to the same quarter last year.

Also up since the market closed was TerraForm Power Inc TERP, which rose 3.6 percent in after-hours trading. The gains added to the 6.53 percent surge seen during the day, driven by news about the challenges that Sunedison Inc SUNE is facing in its proposed acquisition of Vivint Solar Inc VSLR.

Shares of Sunedison were tumbling, about 1.1 percent, on Wednesday’s after-hours session, giving up some of the 19.33 percent gains registered over the day.
