The worst performing industries in the market today are:
Application Software: This industry declined 2 percent by 11:00 am with Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL) moving down 8.2 percent. Oracle reported weaker-than-expected results for its fiscal fourth quarter.
Industrial Metals & Minerals: The industry dropped 0.5 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE: UEC), which declined 6 percent. Uranium Energy shares have jumped 47.73 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 7.19 percent in the same period.
Industrial Equipment & Components: This industry tumbled 0.25 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Omega Flex, Inc. (NASDAQ: OFLX), which fell 2.3 percent. Omega Flex's trailing-twelve-month EPS is $1.43.
